Diwali at ALA

This week, we are celebrating Diwali at ALA.

10372050_739936056044216_5495221194657273168_n Diwali, also known as Deepavali and the “festival of lights”, is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn (More like Summer in SA) every year. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.

It’s a really cool occasion. Members of the ALA community came together to make beautiful patterns in front of the admin block, which was a fun bonding experience for all. Plus, we have been promised sweets in the near future!

Diwali, like other celebrations is a good time to be with your friends and just have fun, so as the weekend approaches, don’t forget to do that!10615481_739935579377597_2987113887170913672_n
